Career

Motoring Media Career:

I have been a motoring journalist since the middle of the 1990s. I have always considered the automobile sector an exciting magnifying glass of our modern society: we, journalists, can write about new cars, but also industry, economics, history, design, engineering, new mobility… Thanks to our job, we also have the opportunity to meet and interview top managers and car enthusiasts, to help readers understand the deep changes that the automotive world is undergoing, and to adapt ourselves to these changes.

After working more than twenty years at L’Automobile Magazine, the oldest car magazine in France, as a deputy editor in chief, I have now decided to become a freelancer, parallel to my diecast model car retailing activities (also a big hobby of mine), so that I can have even more freedom to deal with all the automotive topics. My first decision as an “independent” journalist: becoming the French representative of the Autobest jury!

Statement

I am very honoured to join my European colleagues in the Autobest jury, at a moment when car buyers are lost with new regulations, vehicle fuel issues and a huge amount of new products to choose from. We journalists have a role to play to help them, and the Autobest Awards are great tools to do so.
