There’s a road safety initiative driven by a group of dedicated automotive journalists in Hungary. As an independent association (under the name Traffix) they work for making road traffic reasonably simpler and safer on a daily basis.
Their study is a profound and reliable source of info on traffic safety issues related to disoriented phone use or using touchscreens while driving. Study shows that both of the above cases proved to be the primary cause that remained hidden behind many of the traffic accidents on European roads.
The study is free to use in parts, as a whole or as a source.
