AUTOBEST Founder and Chairman Dan Vardie paid a visit at Jaguar Land Rover outstanding facility Fen End to hand over the COMPANYBEST Award to Dave Roynon – D7u Platform & Event Car Control Hub Senior Manager Event Vehicle Operations (EVO). At the event participated many of the 300 plus skilled people working there. `This award is the European AUTOBEST Jury assessment for the best auto company in Europe. And you are working for this company. You can be proud of this!` Dan Vardie said in front of the people gathered at the Fen End.
The new unit is as an extension of the development facility at Gaydon, including where the majority of Special Vehicle Operations’ engineering team is now based. The track is primarily used for mileage accumulation. It is also used a pre-production unit for all the new models. During the AUTOBEST visit, several new Jaguar I-Pace been there, as the production process of the new EV I-Pace is ready to roll.
