The AUTOBEST Gala Awards is the annual most important global automotive event, which gathers the biggest personalities of the sector, together with top automotive European journalists. Each year, the AUTOBEST Gala Awards is held in a different European country, honoring the diverse culture and heritage of the oldest continent in the world.
All 21 editions of the AUTOBEST Gala Awards have been organized around unique and innovative concepts, together with business partners that share the same values and demonstrate high standards of professionalism – Animaize is one of them. Offering a wide range of video animations, such as 2D flat animation, whiteboard animation, doodle videos, and creative technologies for brands and events (such as projection mapping and art installations), Animaize has the resources to create unique videos, that capture the attention of the audience with their mesmerizing creations.
Proving a great sense of originality, the Animaize team created and delivered the animations for the 20th-anniversary edition of the AUTOBEST Gala, which took place in Barcelona at Llotja de Mar, in September 2021. The event was conducted by ‘Mr. B and Miss A‘ as the hosts introducing the ten awards in an original way, together with Liv von Boetticher as MC of the Gala. Mr. B is short for Mr. AutoBest and Miss A is coming from Artificial Intelligence – neither a robot nor a car, but a smartwatch with voice enhancement.

SEAT LEON has been voted “AUTOBEST 2021”, the European accolade for The Best Buy Car of Europe in 2021.
Skoda Auto is the winner of COMPANYBEST 2020 award.
The SAFETYBEST 2020 award goes to Toyota.
The AUTOBEST Jury members voted Renault E-TECH as the winner of the TECHNOBEST 2020 award.
The Honda e is the winner of ECOBEST 2020 award.
The 2021 inductee to the MANBEST` Hall of Fame is Mr Herbert Diess, CEO of VW Group.
The SMARTBEST 2020 award goes to Jaguar Land Rover for its Pivi Pro infotainment system.
The recipient of the DESIGNBEST 2020 award is Frank Stephenson.
Torger Christian ‘Toto’ Wolff is the winner of the SPORTBEST 2020 award.
The Jury voted for ‘A STAR IS BORN 2020’ award in favour of Citroen Ami.
