AUTOBEST CONQUEST - OFFICIAL COMPETITION RULES

1. Organizer

The AUTOBEST Conquest competition (the “Competition”) is organized by Asociatia AUTOBEST, an independent non-profit association of automotive media experts, registered in Romania, with registered address at Str. Tudor Vladimirescu, nr. 20A, Otopeni, Jud. Ilfov, Romania and registration number 13652880 (hereinafter referred to as the “Organizer” or “AUTOBEST”).

AUTOBEST operates a network of 32 active automotive media professionals representing 32 European countries.

2. Purpose of the Competition

AUTOBEST Conquest is an international automotive competition designed to recognize and reward excellence in the automotive industry, based on a combined evaluation system involving both professional jury assessment and public voting.

The Competition aims to highlight innovation, design, usability and technological value within the European automotive market.

3. Competition Name and Scope

The official name of the competition is AUTOBEST Conquest.

The Competition is conducted online via the official AUTOBEST website (www.autobest.org) and through activities organized under the AUTOBEST Conquest brand, including the AUTOBEST Conquest Show.

4. Competition Categories

Public voting and jury evaluation take place exclusively within the following categories:

1) Best Design of Europe

2) Best User’s Car of Europe

3) Best Affordable Technology Package of Europe

The results of these three categories, combined in accordance with the scoring system described below, determine the overall winner of the Best Buy Car of Europe award.

5. Eligibility – Competing Vehicles

Participation in AUTOBEST Conquest is open exclusively to automotive brands and vehicle models that have been officially invited, selected or registered by the Organizer.

The competing vehicles are finalists in the AUTOBEST Conquest competition and are announced publicly via the AUTOBEST website and official AUTOBEST communication channels.

There is no public or open registration process for vehicle brands or models.

6. Eligibility – Public Participation

Public voting is open worldwide, without geographical restrictions.

Any individual may participate in public voting, regardless of nationality or country of residence, subject to compliance with these Rules and the Website Terms and Conditions.

Members of the AUTOBEST jury, employees of automotive brands, and representatives of participating companies are not restricted from participating in public voting.

7. Competition Period

The public voting period runs from 15 January to 28 March, inclusive.

The winners of the AUTOBEST Conquest awards, including Best Buy Car of Europe, are announced on 28 March during the AUTOBEST Conquest Show, broadcast live on the official AUTOBEST YouTube channel.

8. Public Voting Mechanism

Public voting is conducted exclusively through the voting platform integrated on www.autobest.org.

Each participant may cast a maximum of ten (10) votes per IP address and per person.

Votes are valid only if cast for all three competition categories.

Votes submitted for fewer than all categories are not recorded or counted.

Providing an email address is not mandatory for public voting.

Personal data collected during voting is processed in accordance with the AUTOBEST Privacy Policy.

9. Jury Voting Mechanism

The professional jury consists exclusively of official members of the AUTOBEST organization.

The jury evaluates the competing vehicles based on its own internal professional criteria and expertise.

Individual jury scores, deliberations and internal evaluations are confidential and are not made public.

10. Scoring System and Final Results

For each competition category, the final score is calculated as follows:

50% public vote

50% AUTOBEST jury vote

The combined results of the three categories determine the overall winner of the Best Buy Car of Europe award.

The Organizer’s calculation and determination of results are final and binding.

11. Fraud Prevention and Disqualification

The Organizer reserves the right to monitor voting activity and take appropriate measures to ensure the integrity and fairness of the Competition.

AUTOBEST may, at its sole discretion, invalidate votes suspected of fraud, manipulation or abuse, restrict or block access from specific IP addresses or devices, and disqualify participants who attempt to interfere with the voting process.

Such decisions may be taken without prior notice or public justification.

12. Amendments, Suspension and Force Majeure

The Organizer reserves the right to adjust the Competition structure, voting process or timeline where necessary to ensure the proper conduct, integrity and credibility of AUTOBEST Conquest.

In exceptional circumstances beyond the Organizer’s reasonable control, including technical failures or force majeure events, AUTOBEST may suspend or discontinue the Competition, without liability.

13. Data Protection

Personal data collected in connection with the Competition is processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws and the AUTOBEST Privacy Policy, available on the official website.

14. Limitation of Liability

The Organizer shall not be held liable for technical issues affecting voting or access to the Website, inaccuracies caused by system errors or interruptions, or any indirect or consequential damages arising from participation in the Competition.

Nothing in these Rules excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Official Rules are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Romania.

Any disputes arising out of or in connection with the Competition shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Romania.
