“In an automotive world in full upheaval marked by the emergence of many technologies but also of doubt, it is essential to be attentive to try to better understand these changes but also to best advise customers in their purchase. Joining the Autobest jury is an honor for me and I am very proud to represent France, one of the main European markets”, said Olivier.
He is replacing Alexandra Legendre. ‘’I was very honoured, one year ago, when Dan Vardie asked me to be the French jury member of Autobest. I had been a motoring journalist for more than twenty years, newly as a freelancer, and it was like a recognition of my long career. But things when rather quickly as I was contacted by an important French driver’s association to become their Head of Communications. Road safety has become a central topic for me through the years and it seemed to me that I had to involve myself to try to improve public decisions and driving conditions in France. So I accepted the offer.
One of the consequences was that I had to quit the Autobest jury, unhappily. But as a successor, Olivier Pagès will perfectly fulfill the mission. He has been a motoring journalist for Caradisiac for many years now, and his nomination is 100% relevant.
